Pentecost Sunday

Come, Holy Spirit, and renew the face of the earth.
Come, Holy Spirit, and kindle in our hearts the fire of your love.

God of love, of your goodness set us aflame with that fire of the Spirit which Christ brought upon the earth and longs to see blazing throughout the world, through him who lives and reigns with you and the Spirit now and for ever.Amen.

Lord, on this day of Pentecost as we gather together to praise and worship you we ask that You would fill this place and us Your people with Your Holy Spirit.  Fill us with holy fire so that we may be equipped to witness with power and anointing.

Thank You Lord that we have been baptized with water and we ask that now You would baptize us with Your Holy Spirit and fire, fill us to overflowing.

Lord, anoint us today to do the work of the Kingdom.  May we in the power of the Spirit proclaim the Gospel to the poor, lay hands on the sick and see them healed, deliver those who are in bondage to the enemy and speak freedom to those who are bound.

Thank You Father for the gift your Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit we welcome you as our counselor and helper and we thank you that you strengthen us and walk with us in all that we do for the sake of the Gospel.  Help us to always be alert to how you are leading us, give us ears to hear and a sensitive spirit to your voice.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen
